Sometimes things seem to be so routine and running a route of seeing simlar pest problems becomes routine. I had been doing a lot of rodent work lately and getting a call that says they hear something running around in a garage that was left open over night just sounded like a routine rat problem to me.
I sure was surprised and amazed to find this guy hiding in the back of a woodpile in a garage . I netted him, safely put him in a cage and set him free short of getting a few pictures before a beautiful fly off.
Sometimes its nice to have a moments enjoying God’s great natural beauties to me . The owl like so many and most bird species are protected by Federal & State laws.
This owl was very timid. The owl stood maybe nine inches and if you notice he has tufts for his ears. This turned out to be a Eastern Screech Owl. You can learn more about the Eastern Screech Owl Here.
